2019 he has published The involuntary spy (De ofrivillige spionen), his first spy novel in Swedish that a few weeks after its publication remained for months among the first three places of book loans in Swedish libraries and was received with excellent reviews.
In 2021 he publishes his second novel in Swedish: Gryningens skuggor (Shadows of the Dawn), the second part of his spy series, following the successful The Involuntary Spy, a searing contemporary spy thriller that chronicles with historical accuracy the political machinations that Western intelligence agencies become embroiled in as they struggle to win the covert war against Islamic terrorism and against the rise of right-wing extremist terrorism.
